Bisphenol A (GAP) is a chemical

Food and beverage containers of plastic are a source of concern for many people. Either PET plastic parts or dangerous, was used to preserve food debate. polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with a "1" is a type of plastic used stamping parts in the labeled water and soda bottles and other food packaging.


BPA Plastic Connectors concerns

Bisphenol A (GAP) is a chemical that acts as endocrine disruptors. It's in some types of plastics such as polycarbonate found. It is not in PET.


Heating PET

You may have heard that never microwave food in plastic containers. The belief is that the heat causes the plastic to release chemicals into your food. However, the marker for microwave were carefully reviewed by the FDA and deemed safe.


Reuse
